Privacy Policy

What I collect, and when

Nothing is collected until you choose to send it. Browsing the site does not require you to provide any personal information.

• **Booking a call** — your name and email address (required), and optionally your phone number, company, the reason for the call, and any notes you add.
• **Paid sessions** — if you pay for a session, PayPal tells me the transaction id, the amount, and the email address on your PayPal account. I never see or receive your card number, expiry date, or security code.
• **Analytics** — anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager.

What I do with it

Booking details are used to create the calendar invitation, email you a confirmation code and the meeting link, and add you to my contacts so I know who you are when we speak. There is no contact form — every enquiry starts as a booked call.

I do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for advertising. I do not send marketing email — there is no mailing list to opt out of, because there is no mailing list.

Your IP address

The site rate-limits form submissions to prevent abuse. Before your IP address or email address is used for that, it is put through a keyed one-way hash, and only the hash is stored. Your actual IP address is never written to the database, and the stored hashes expire automatically within hours.

Who else processes your data

I run this site solo, but a small number of services are involved in operating it. Each one only receives what it needs:

• **Deno Deploy** — hosting and the database where bookings are stored.
• **Microsoft 365** — the calendar the meeting is created on, the Teams link, my contacts, and the mailbox every email from this site is sent from. Booking details are stored here.
• **PayPal** — processes payment for paid sessions. Card details are entered on PayPal's own systems and never touch this site.
• **Cloudflare Turnstile** — checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot. It sets no cookies.
• **Google Analytics / Tag Manager** — anonymous usage statistics.

How long it is kept

An abandoned booking — one where you never confirm the emailed code — deletes itself within minutes, automatically. Confirmed bookings and their payment records are kept as business records. Emails you send me stay in my mailbox as correspondence.

If you want your information deleted, ask and I will delete it. See below.

Your rights

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email me and I will handle it personally — there is no ticket queue and no form to fill in.

Cancelling a booking through the link in your confirmation email removes the calendar entry immediately.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies for anonymous usage statistics; your browser's settings or an ad-blocker will stop that if you prefer. Cloudflare Turnstile sets no cookies.

Changes and contact

This policy was last reviewed on 2026-07-27. If it changes materially, the date above changes with it.
